A Message from Mike Brotz

Those words at this Christmas time speak volumes about the best in human beings. Yet cable news

networks and other mass media are filled with stories about the inhumanity that occurs here at home

and abroad. It seems we cannot escape negativity.

We need to remind ourselves that many acts of kindness and generosity never make it to the front

pages. Yet they are right here in Sheboygan particularly during the Holidays.

Read the stories in this issue of

PlastiScope21

and you will discover the ways in which members of the

Plenco family confirm the essential goodness of giving.

Ruth Schickowski’s

story will bring a tear to your eyes as you read about her certainty that “some

magic is very real” at Christmas time.

Judy Frier

explains how a haircut can help cover young heads to heal young

hearts.

Patrick Meyer

talks about putting your life on the line as a volunteer

firefighter in Cascade.

Steve Meyer’s

life is defined by a hospice that hit close

to home.

Kim Johnson

writes about the most fulfilling, heartwarming Sheboygan

charity that serves many people in need, right here at home and across the country.

And from our Mexico plant,

Lupita Saavedra

describes how she helps the Three

Kings provide gifts to needy children on January 6th each year.

Indeed there literally are “no limits upon human kindness and brotherhood.”

At this Christmas Season I, like many of you, find myself reflecting about the past

year and how Plenco employees and your families have helped to shape the success

of this enterprise in a most significant way.

As a part of the Plenco family, you have been caring, supportive and resourceful

during the past year. On behalf of our family, it is indeed a pleasure for me to say we

truly value our relationship with you and look forward to working with you in the year to

come.

I truly believe the greater joys of Christmas are experienced at home, and it is our

sincere hope that the winds of love and happiness will visit your homes this Christmas

and will linger with you and your families always.

I would like to wish all of you, your family and your friends a very happy and

rewarding Christmas Season and a New Year filled with peace and prosperity.
