A

s 2015 comes to a close, we will be saying good-bye

to five dedicated Plenco employees who have a

cumulative work record of 149 years at the company.

lmost a century and a half of experience has been dedicated

to making Plenco a stronger and growing enterprise.

Mike Brotz, president and CEO of Plenco, said, “Four of

these five men have in effect spent their entire working lives at

Plenco, for which we are grateful. Their contributions, large and

small, day in and day out, have contributed to the company’s

growth and success over good times and challenging times.

Mike said, “We wish them many years of enjoyable, fulfilling

retirement, and we know from reports of what many of the 220

current Plenco retirees are doing, that their ensuing years can

be interesting, educational and enjoyable as they have the

opportunity to travel, be with family members, read and increase

their education, and spend more time away from the Northern

climate!”

The group of retirees includes in order of seniority with

the company:

Polymer Research Laboratory

Mike began employment at the

company September 7, 1976, as a

Color Roll Operator. He joined the

Polymer Research Lab in April 1978,

and became a Project Coordinator

on June 13, 2005. He retired

December 1, 2015.

Maintenance Department

Solly began working with

Plenco August 22, 1988, as

a Resin Cooker. After having

jobs in the Molding Dept.,

Tool Room and the Materials

Dept., he completed his

tenure as Plenco’s

Maintenance Crib Attendant.

He retired December 1, 2015

John joined Plenco September

7, 2010, as a Materials Quality

Assurance Technician, a

position he holds until he

retires January 1, 2016.

John F. Komoroski

, 5 Years

Engineering

Randy joined Plenco

March 12, 1979, as an

Electronics Technician and

received his BA degree in

Computer Science from

Lakeland College in

December 1988. He was

promoted to Plant Electrical

Supervisor on January 9,

1989, where he remains until

his January 1, 2016 retirement.

Randall W. Lutz

, 36 Years

Polymer Research Laboratory

Tom joined Plenco April 25, 1973,

and retired November 15, 2015,

after 42 years at the company.

He started as a Molder in the

Molding Department, and became

a Polymer Research Technician on

November 3, 2003.
